Certification Standards

The Rainforest Alliance seal of certification is given to farms or plantations that comply with a set of standards that has been identified and approved. For agriculture based farms, for crops such as coffee, tea, cocoa, etc. the SAN standard is followed . A second set of Standard called the Forest Stewardship Council is used to certify forestry and agro-forest initiatives.
