We conducted a two-day training program on Introduction to GPS and GIS for Forest Department staff, Dindigul Circle, Tamil Nadu. This workshop was organised by the Conservator of Forests, Dindigul Circle. This training program aimed at introducing participants to basic concepts of Map reading, GPS navigation, and GIS and use of GPS and QGIS for data collection, visualisation, management, and mapping of local habitats, landscapes, and natural resources.
